About The Epic 80s

This is me, back in the late 80's. Check out that mall hair! The higher the hair, the closer to God wasn't just a saying, it was a way of life! Sigh, to be young and full of hope again...

I had dreams of attending art school in Georgia and becoming a famous artist like Georgia O'Keefe, blowing off societal norms and living life the way I wanted to all the while smoking Marlboro Lights, drinking Kahlua and becoming the eccentric old woman on the street who everyone whispered about. 

This is me now. Mother of 4, Chef, writer, artist, baker and crazy cat lady. The hair isn't nearly as big as it once was, but the dreams are even bigger. 

I never made it to Georgia for art school, instead opting for a business degree from the local community college. But now that my kids are adults, I am immersing myself back into the wonderful world of art as well as baking and writing up a storm. Thankfully, I AM becoming the eccentric old woman on the street that people whisper about.
